Week 3 post

The current core competencies are identifying technologies which are of us to growing companies. Start-ups dont usually have a large amount of funding, and therefore are seeking the best IT solutions for the cheapest prices. Many innovations including several types of small business programs and software have allowed companies to streamline their processes significantly. This in turn, allows firms to save time and money and allows them to foucs their funding on other areas. I think that companies will continue to develop new IT solutions for business. This will bring the prices down even further of these solutions and the technology will continue to be developed and help the companies that need the services.

Reflective blog 1

My chosen industry is working with start-up companies. This interests me because this is the time that companies either succeed or fail. There are many aspects to figure out and many obstacles to overcome; this makes for a challenging and profitable arena. IT has ben huge with start-ups in the last decade. Many start-ups themselves have created new forms of IT, and all of them use IT to get up and running in an efficient manner. I believe IT will continue to play a big roll with start-ups. They will continue to search for ways to operate efficiently and cost effective. IT can solve a lot of these problems. The improvement of small business software already hase given small business owners ways to cut costs, and I see great strides continuing to be made. The key issues in this are the new types of technology which are being developed. To be in this space, it is important to be on top of the latest and greatest technologies. The people and companies that are, are the ones that will succeed.
